About the role
You'll own end-to-end delivery on one or two engagements at a time — discovery to launch — alongside another senior and a principal. You'll talk to clients directly, push back on bad ideas, and ship real software, not slide decks.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture, implementation, and review on client engagements.
- Run weekly demos and write client-facing status notes.
- Pair with the principal on scope, sequencing, and risk calls.
- Mentor a junior or mid-level engineer at least one quarter per year.
- Contribute to internal patterns, templates, and post-mortems.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years shipping production web apps.
- Deep TypeScript / React / Node experience; comfortable in Python when needed.
- Real PostgreSQL and AWS experience — not just tutorials.
- Strong written communication; comfortable with direct client work.
- Track record of operating systems you've shipped, not just shipping them.
